A SEDATIVE ESCAPE FROM THE CITY | IN AN ENCLOSED GLASS HOUSE
SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2013
Easties! Here's a cafe to try in the East! I've always loved the East and this is certainly a place for good catchups or to simply spent my weekends away. Honestly, if it wasn't for Cafe Melba, I doubt we'll step foot into Goodman Arts Centre. Looking in from the outsides while driving pass, never ever did I expect such a quaint cafe to exist within its compounds. But I'm glad we did! I was attracted to the cafe itself for its glass concept dining and al fresco dining space right in front of a huge grass area.

I love the modern-retro decorations of the place.
All the detailed dainty little things around me made me really happy!

Just so you know, Cafe Melba got it's name from the combination of Melbourne x Asia Cuisine it serves; MELB for Melbourne and A for Asia!

A pity I didn't get to try many dishes there because the both of us decided to go for the full works.

full melba breakfast
with choice of eggs, sausage, baked beans, mushrooms roasted cherry vine tomatoes and toast with butter
The breakfast was relatively decent, nothing special but yes, I loved the mushrooms and hashbrown! For brunch lovers, this is something worth ordering.

I was there for brunch, but the place looks really pretty at night when it's being lit up.
I'd probably be back for dinner sometime soon! Can't wait to try out their other dishes too. Great place for celebrating birthdays or have a gathering!
