Each month, we focus on different makeup topics created by Makeup Artist Larry Yeo and beauty experts. This month, the 3rd session's about the EYES & we tried to achieve the look of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

ACHIEVING THE LOOK

L'Oreal's Infallible Eyeshadow | 02 Hourglass Beige
Immense, endless, breathtaking blue with a myriad of starry glimmers for eyes of exalted strength
Its texture felt very smooth, velvety. The soft beige colour is very flattering for Asian's ivory skin undertone. And what made me happy was the fact that it shimmers as well!

We made use of these wonderful L'Oreal products above. But of course, for this look, the magic is in this super eyeliner!

The 1st Marker Pen Liner!
Turn heads with BIGGER.BOLDER EYES with this new Super Liner Blackbuster! I was drawn to this liner because of the classy black and gold packaging. It defines B.O.L.D! I was very excited to try it out!

It's the thickest eyeliner ever!
When they introduced it as marker-inspired, I thought marker yes yes, but I really didn't expect it to be THAT thick! Well, thick it is! Which makes putting it on drawing bold lines a lot easier, great even if you're just a beginner. To top off the deal, this eyeliner lasts all day long and because it's not waterproof, it's way easier to take off at the end of the day!

Despite the large felt tip, you can still achieve drawing a super fine line! It really depends on how you use the the pen. For thinner lines, you can try using the tip itself, which is sturdy yet soft enough that makes you feel like you are literally drawing on your eyelids. And definitely  the black was intense enough to ensure a solid black line on my first attempt.

I tried to do a Halloween theme related design on my eyes. Kinda failed with my below standard drawing skills (le sighs), but yes you get the point, this eyeliner is very very thick, intensely black, 'nuff said, just check out the difference in my look!
