Johor Premium Outlets (JPO) Malaysia was officially opened on December 11th 2011 and this is the first ever proper Factory Outlet in Malaysia and Southeast Asia which is located at Kulaijaya in the Iskandar Malaysia zone.

Been there in March for a short getaway after the majorproject meetings and exams, just to check out what it's all about and how good it is exactly. Location wise, for Singaporean shoppers, the Johor Premium Outlet is located about half an hours drive from the Singapore Tuas Checkpoint or 2nd Link, which is really very close to home.

"Johor Premium Outlets, located at the intersection of the North-South Expressway and the Second Link Expressway, officially opened on 11 December 2011. The center is highly accessible to all traffic going to and from Johor and Singapore. It is about an hour drive from the City of Singapore, about 3 hours from Kuala Lumpur and only a short distance from Senai International Airport."

This bored face shows the truth. That actually, I was kinda in my sleepy mode still, because I was snoozed in the comfy car seat the entire journey down to M'sia. Imba Sam!

Nevertheless, the look of the awesome shopfronts glaring at me woke me up immediately. Unleashing the ultimate shopaholic queen in me! Here we go!


However, before diving straight into shopping, I needed to satisfy my growling tummy! Thus, all of us headed for lunch first things first.





And, guess what? Foodcourt works best, it has a variety of all you ever wanted. Pick and Choose, there you go!

Famous Fishball/Mixed Yong Tau Foo Noodles
Through it supposed to be really famous, I don't really like it. Oh the noodles were tasteless and just as I thought the soup could redeem the entire dish as a whole, it failed - was a tad too salty, I really mean it. Try it for yourself!

After lunch, it's FINALLY time for my retail therapy fix! I was more excited to check out the slashed prices for myself, because I read mixed reviews about the prices of goods here... Some say it's much much cheaper than original price, and on the other hand, you have others saying that through it's cheap, it's not that cheap. And, after shopping, I have to agree with the latter.


Visited some of my Favourite brands. FYI, I'm not a brandwhore, so don't mind me.

Padini
Not a common brand, but it's quite popular in Malaysia.
Never fails to offer good discounts but the style of the clothes are quite limited so it's a place that you have to 'dig' to find 'treasures' which I'm damn good at doing so.

Cotton On

One of my fav brands for casual clothes. Surprised to see this brand there! Didn't expect to see it because it's not really considered a classy 'brand'. Ohwells, it's good through! Oh, see the sales banners? I guess it's always there, don't really need to take down (haha!) because this brand never fails to offer sales items at good prices! YAY!

After a few hours, we settled down at Starbucks for a drink and to put down our shopping bags with Dad, who parks himself there everytime I go on such shopping sprees. Guys VS Girls. Well, it's good. Life's good. I'm not complaining.
