Birthday Staycation @ Studio M
Kept my actual birthDAY simple by spending most of the day with my IJ clique girlfriends. Booked a room at Studio M for a birthday staycation.
Initially, I was deciding hard on which hotel to choose. Decided not to splurge on the more expensive hotels like Marina Bay Sands, Capella and Movenpick. So I came to a final conclusion after being sold by the loft concept and bay window view that Studio M had. Plus, the entire decor of the room seemed very modern and best of all, cozy.
Checked in around 2pm, which is the norm

Upon Entering
I loved the loft and the room in general. Just that, I have to admit.. compared to the pictures I saw online, truth is that the room is really small. Well, having said that, I don't mind staying in the room alone. If only university hostels in Singapore were like that.. trust me, I would enrol in that Uni just for the room!

After lunch, we went back for a well-deserved rest. Played tricks like Black Magic and it was uber fun tricking the others who didn't know anything about it. Got ready around early evening time and made my way to church!
Met the girls at Plaza Sing after my church service. Hui Xian came specially to pass me my present despite being sick *awww, so touched!*

Parents brought me the Hello Kitty cake I ordered. Headed back to the hotel, and the sweet little girls surprised me with a Pink Hello Kitty cake.
Yiu Si made me go down just to open the room door thro I was on the 2nd level of the room camwhoring!
Quite obviously... it was a surprise, but I played along. K, I think I'm quite smart this year! (; Anyways, its the thought that counts, right!

Loved how we spent the night together - Camwhored with all my birthday cakes, walked down Clarke Quay super not dressed up, supper at 12am, and back to the room to camwhore more.

The next morning, we woke up early for breakfast buffet. Something which I ALWAYS look forward to at hotels whether it's a staycation or on holidays.

For a change, it's an open concept breakfast area instead of the typical air-conditioned ones
Here at Studio M, the buffet breakfast spread isn't exceptionally awesome, more of acceptable...

Check out time was around 12pm so I made good use of my stay at Studio M and went to enjoy the pool ALONE (haha!) while the girls spent their time either sleeping or watching the television.
Extremely nice! Your birthday was amazingly special. Same was my friend's last month. Full day shopping, then movie and at last dinner with family and friends at event space NYC was awesome. Invited everyone sharp at eight with messages done prior two days back. She felt happy as showered with gifts and blessings.
