This backdated post sums up my entire birthday celebrations this year!

19th Part I: Granny's Handmade Dinner

Granny called me up on a weekday during internship and asked me to her house for dinner because she wanted to cook special noodles for my birthday. Birthday & Noodles, kinda like a tradition between my beloved granny & myself.

She believes in eating noodles on birthdays, and it's been going like that since young, so I make it a point to have noodles as a representation of 我长大了 1 year older!

Always allow myself to overeat when I'm at granny's. I know, somehow I'll just end up eating lots and feeling super full. Guess it's because she cooks my favourite dishes and I seldom go her place for dinner, so I'll just let loose and eat as much as possible!

19th Part II: Back to TP & Night @ Helipad

Birthday Eve was spent celebrating the official end of my internship with my lovely colleagues over at Chomp Chomp. Headed to school to meetup with the Biz peeps, mentally supporting Mel, Zaxe, Jiahou & the rest for the OTC Appeal Session. I swear, it was a crowd!!!

What a mental torture, anyways. Shan't eloborate, it's over! Just that, I don't believe in appeals for camps, honestly. I believe that if the individual is not a problem kid & most importantly, has a passion/heart to serve for camp, just let the person in! It's not easy being a GL, that's I can say... and I'm surprise so many people are interested in attending a 6day straight camp... so why reject! Sighs! Not up to me to decide... Back to my Birthday Eve! (:

We were famished :( Decided to stopby a random coffeeshop for supper.

That's where I officially celebrate my 1st second of turning 19.

The girls sang the classic 'Happy Birthday' song for me LOUDLY in the coffeeshop... Hmm, super embarrassed! On a sidenote, what a place for my birthday! *sighs*

It was my first time there & as usual, me being me, I was very excited to try out new places!

Too bad, it rained and they closed the rooftop area so we couldn't enjoy the view from the peak :( Guess I'll head back there next time round.

Turns out that Helipad's entrance is at the side of the multistory carpark, I never knew!

19th Part III: Birthday Staycation @ Studio M

HAPPY 19th to MYSELF!

On the actual birthday, I booked Studio M for a Birthday Staycation. Did a separate blog entry about the very lovely comfortable place I was at.

19th Part IV: Church

My birthday fell on a Saturday & I have church services on Saturday evenings. So, in between the staycation, I headed to Nexus for service. What better way to spend my birthday with my creater, my maker, my father above. To the person who knows me the best, inside out, thankyou God for everything, every little thing you have blessed me with. Even if & even when the whole world fails me, you never & will never ever fail me. Thank You.

Was just hanging outside Nexus afterwhich, and suddenly some of them came out with a cake and started singing me the Happy Birthday song. I was quite surprise, plus I had a pretty cake!

19th Part V: High on Fondue
Met up with Mediacorp Dec Dazzle babes @ Holland Village. Known them since I was 12years old. Time really flies. Settled at Hagen Daaz and shared an awesome fondue set.
