Cafebiz @ Traders Hotel
In due celebrations of my beloved Grandma JiaJia's birthday, I decided to treat my family & of course, herself to a good spread of buffet lunch. The only headache was... deciding where to dine at!
I felt bad for not being able to join them for her official birthday celebrations on the actual day, due to school & sorta NDP celebrations:( So yeah, this is my best 'compensation'. It's the thought that counts right!
Personally, I felt that the spread was justifiable, however, I didn't really enjoy myself. Well, mainly because the food wasn't to my liking. Standard wise, it was indeed good. Because the rest of them enjoyed and said it was worth the dollars$. Like Daddy said the sashimi and raw food items were fresh, & I guess that's important!
What sets Cafébiz apart is that, it also offers authentic la mian (hand-pulled noodles)! An in-house chef hailing from China is available to hand-make la mian upon request. I didn't try cause I thought noodles = carbs = waste of calories, because I rather save my tummyspace for other nicer type of food!
And what’s a buffet without cake and tarts?Tho I don't have a very sweet tooth, I enjoyed the food items served! (:Here's the ULTIMATE chocolate fondue, I like them with fruits ^^ & of course, my lovely icecream because it freezes and turns into hard chocolate upon contact w the icy cold icecream! (: YAY!Look at what I found! The hard biscuits were in glass tubs, haha so cute! I wanted to get a SAMANTHA letter, but damn hard to dig everything out just for the few letters :/& of course, my favourite FRUITS!The ice cream counter had many flavours, but I really didn't fancy the flavours. They were weird flavours. Like you know, where got buffet icecream don't have standard chocolate flavour de!!!
Loved the dress I bought from Msia, as well! YAY! Fits the occasion yo!
