Back Home (for the time being)
It taught me to take things slow, to prioritize what's important in life and it brought the introvert out of the extrovert in me. Amazing how one pandemic changed the world. For good or for the worse - It's all about your perspective.
13 September - I landed in Changi Airport. Sent to Quarantine in a dedicated facility for two weeks. It was the staycation I've been looking forward to. In fact, two weeks of me-time isn't enough, I could stay here for two months!
This 'staycation' has been insanely awesome; there is something intensely therapeutic about afternoons spent sprawled out on my bed with a million-dollar Singapore skyline city view, or just moseying around watching the television. Just simply doing nothing, not even the simplest hobby of people watching.
The older I get, the more I start to appreciate my comfort zone. I'm pretty sure that's not age catching up with me (or at least that's what I believe so)
Also reminded me that 2020 is coming to an end. Literally in a blink. Where has all the time gone? What have I achieved this year?
C'mon!
