Wimbly Lu Chocolate Cafe deserves a post dedicated to it because I simply love their desserts, both sweet and the (not-so) sweets. It's a cosy space of its own located at Jalan Riang. What I love about it is that whimsical charm it exudes the moment we stepped in. Their creative DIY decors around the place struck me most. Apparently, design of their in-house decorations changes according to the theme or occasions. How interesting!

I've been to this much raved about dessert cafe a couple of times, especially when I'm in that area. Their most popular choices include the Root Beer Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and the Waffles. But personal favourites delights are the Apple Crumble and Molten Lava Cake!

According to my friends, Wimbly Lu has the best Waffles served with a scoop of ice cream (flavour of your choice). Alternatively, go simple with maple syrup & butter. But, I thought it wasn't the best of the best because I've tried better ones (crispier type) elsewhere. Nevertheless, it was still good because of the crispy outside and fluffy insides.

I've never tasted such a unique combination before! While it was something new and yummylicious, I actually preferred drinking the actual root beer and eating a good chocolate cake instead. The taste of root beer was overwhelming and it was a little too sweet for me overall.

If you are a chocolate lover like me, please try this!!! I loved how the warm chocolate lava ooozing out of the cake complements my cold icy icecream. One word - Heavenly!

It's really good and at for such a value price, you're in for a treat!

chocolaTE creme bRulee

My friend loved this, she pretty much could finish the whole thing herself. Thankfully, we managed to try some before that! I'm not a fan of creme brulee, but they said it's the best ever with the interesting combination of perfect custard base texture and caramelized chocolate.

When there are some days you just find yourself needing some alone time with comfort food and a cosy ambience to soak yourself in, think of here.

Wimbly Lu has become one of my favourite to-go place for desserts or just to chill over good food with my friends. I'm always excited to check out their new decors each time I'm there, plus of course, to treat myself to some good desserts especially after a long day's of work.

Oh, & I WANNA EAT GOOD TRUFFLE CHOCOLATES THE NEXT TIME TOO!
