Hi there! I’m Samantha,

and this space encompasses my personal milestones made beautiful in His time. Combining my flair for easy-to-read writing and my love for photography, here you'll find me sharing the thing I'm most passionate about - travel, food, fashion and my conversations with God.

*P.S when God was blessing others with the gift of height, He left me out realizing that great things come in tiny packages, so instead I am gifted with endless energy and a big wide smile to get through difficult times.

Forever & always, a child of God. Through this cozy little virtual haven, I hope each post inspires at least someone out there with my life stories.

School Woes

'How's School?' is the most awkward question anyone could ask me in terms of striking a conversation. Because, I don't know how to reply. 'Like that lor...', I mean, what do you expect me to say? Say  already the other person won't know what I'm going through too. Everyday, I'm like getting smacked in the face with lots of things to do :( but ohwells!
Saw this online in a SMU Forum: "I think the tension definitely exists. On one hand, people don’t exactly want to be this incredibly insane rat race. On the other hand, it’s a game that everyone else is playing. If you don’t play it. You automatically lose."
That's the only reason why I'm fighting, still.
However, I wanna add that just because the others are so caught up in this rat race, does not necessarily mean it's right or suitable for me. The Rat Race is a great playing field for those high flyers to-be or those who want to be in high paying jobs. Not that I don't want to be like them, but you see, for me, I'll probably run my own business. This is my long term goal, which differs from most of them out there. Thus, I should just take my own path towards my own goal. Doesn't mean the route less taken would be the wrong one, right?

What's my definition of Success? Mine definitely isn't the same as the other people out there. So point is, we should just live our life in pursuit of the goal we have set for ourselves and once achieved, be glad and give thanks onto God. Amen!

& It's not just about the SMU Culture. It's the Singapore Culture we're talking about here. I don't have to be perfect, I just need to try my best & knowing my God will do the rest. It's about trying because if I don't try, I'll regret for sure.
