Who says you can't find a group of good friends in Poly?

Sometimes, it's not about what you'r doing but who you'r doing it with... "There's nothing we can't do with a team that is the best!" Spent last Saturday with the funniest people ever ♥ Despite our busy schedules and each of us going different ways in life, we'll make it a point to take time out for each other's Birthday Celebration. Haven't seen them ever since godknowswhen, graduation?
Thankgod for making this meetup possible, yay & of course, the birthday girl Shi Ying turns 20!

She decided on Group Therapy Cafe at Duxton, for the birthday brunch celebration. Been there once, blogged about it before here ◕ ‿ ◕ So this time round, I managed to locate the place easily, awesome ☀

From their simple & clear menu, one can see that they serve mainly pies and sandwiches, and if they're not filling enough for you, there's always the option of add-ons sides like eggs and smoked salmon

Don't belittle their pies, they may look very simple however it's the goodness that has been encased beneath those glazed golden brown crust. Baked well, it didn't taste too overwhelmingly and I thought its ingredients were able to go nicely with the crust in general. The chilli crab flavor was really unique and worth a try! However, I'd prefer the Steak & Cheese pie.

We made a hell load of noise there, making the cafe seem more like a kopitiam. Well, guess it's just a TP student trait... or maybe, it's just us.

Still not my favourite brunch nor chill out place but if ever I'm back here again, I'll probably try the awesome Shepherd's Pie oh and Granny's Apple Crumble! Till then, toddles!
