The famous Dean & DeLuca from NYC has made its way to Singapore, opening their flagship store in Orchard Central. Gwen wanted to try it out so we went for brunch. Check out the coolest most colorful sugar I've ever seen!
Shared the standard big breakfast because we reckon both of us would end up ordering the same dish anyways. It was indeed a good choice, cause even after sharing we felt so full already...
The Big American Country Breakfast!
Ours look a little incomplete and different from the original!
Yup, because we don't like tomatoes and bacon so we asked for more mushrooms and potatoes instead. In terms of food presentation, fail. In terms of taste, not too bad. Something unique was the potatoes because normally big breakfasts come with sautéed potatoes but these are circular and a little more pan-fried. I loved the scrambled eggs which weren't creamy, yay finally. The mushrooms were tasty, yay. The multigrain bread was something unique which went well with the others. The only thing I didn't really like was the pork sausage - it was too oily and salty! :(

Again, we shared a dish! Too bad we went around 5pm+ so our choices were limited to their tea-time menu.
Fried Chicken Basket
I'm not a fan of fried food, so this is out of my league. But, I guess #YOLO once in a while, it's fine. Generally I don't like eating fried stuffs :/ Ohwells. Not being bias, but I find KFC's chicken much better. This basket of sin totally isn't worth the hefty price of $26. Mygoodness! *facepalm moment*
