Top Table 2012

Anyways, on a happier note, it's my final week in school. Saw the execution week invitation on FB by my HTM/LRM friends. Told myself I MUST try Top Table before I graduate, at least. So though I don't like the Menu of that week, I wanted to go because I just HAD to experience it once. At least... So I booked a table for my groupmates and we went there for lunch in a trying-to-be-not-so-cui look.

The place is ran and managed by our very own students. The LRM students serve us while the CCM/HTM (Culinary) students cook in the kitchen. I must say I'm really impressed at the standards and trainings the students receive.

Jicama Salad

Leek and Potato Soup
Not a creamy soup person as well...

Pan-seared Sea Bass & Prawns
This was the reason why I booked Top Table through the other dishes on the menu ain't to my liking. This main course did not disappoint. It was the sweetest and tastiest prawns I have eaten. I could easily pop 50 of those crunchy prawns into my mouth at a go! Wish I could have more. The fish was up to standard as well. Very good!

Lychee Mousse Cake
I only ate the raspberry sorbet topped with peanut ballings. It was good. Not too sweet nor sour.

After lunch, we were in a mad rush to go back to Business school for POE tutorial. Happens to have this cab right in front of TCA. We actually crazily took a cab back to Biz school from TCA. LOL at us. It was only like less than 1km away... TP is small, unlike other schools. What a joke! An experience man, I'm glad we did it. We were on time for lessons! Woohooo!
