HAPPY 19th Alina Jie!
Initially planned for a super cute Macs birthday party package to relieve those childhood days(come to think of it, why didn't I have such a party or even gone to one! Basket!), but it's oh so popular that the month of October have been booked up:( So Sad! So we had to have a contingency plan, but all of us were so busy. Sighs.
Decided on celebrating a simple yet surprising birthday for the 4th birthday in our clique of 8. haha, (MIDNIGHT IS REALLY for the 1st time in our entire clique life).. so here goes...
We went up to her place on 7th Oct's midnight ard 12.30am(Tsk, I waited for the other 2babes for almost an hour downstairs! haha), technically 8th Oct and it's already pass her birthday. But it's the thought that counts yeah? :) Purposely didn't text her happy birthday to wish her because I wanted to make it seem as if I forgot. haha it's quite hard man, honestly. But, I managed to do so!
I was told that 19years old cannot cut cake, don't really believe in it, but I mean how many times you turn a year older with the '9' digit... haha so just to play along with the myth, I insisted that all such birthdays must be replaced with something else... aiya, actually, more creative also what right!
Wanted to get some pretty cupcakes for Alina but thanks to dear Li Yin, she bought fruit tarts instead. Works equally well, and trust me, I think it sure tasted better! haha...
When we were at her doorsteps, my drama skills came to good use!
I called her on the phone to bluff her to go out dessert with me but obviously I know she couldn't so have to quickly think of another excuse so I said I left her present at her doorstep & I'm in a rush to leave. MOST IMPTLY, to make her come out instantly, I said 'You better come out soon to get it or else later some stranger takes it away'. Thought of that on the spot, I mean... what if she doesn't bother coming out then 3 of us have to wait at her doorsteps in vain right. haha, thank god!
So as expected, she opened her gate, saw us and her expression was sibei epic. Only Li Yin & I saw, but no pics, cause Huixian was holding the camera. hahaha the only priceless facial expression pics we've got are...
