As the title shows, I'm really enjoying and equally appreciate my SIP Weekends.
The perks of internship (not exactly working life, I guess) is that you get free weekends. Schooling sucks, because you end up burning your weekends either doing projects or studying, it's really a vicious cycle. Seriously. I mean, of course during school holidays, it's a whole diff matter. haha no work no school. yay.

Anyways, this weekend was rather enjoyable because I had time to myself. Dad's away in China for community project mission trip (what a pleasant surprise! teeheee!). So I spent half of Sunday with Mum. Clubbed the night before w Melody and friends, so I woke up quite late on Saturday. Late enough to get ready for lunchtime yo, plus it's okay b'cuz I wasn't hungry (thanks to Macs Supper at like 4am! hmpf!)... Decided to satisfy my cravings for Tua Huat's E-Mee!

It's so special, at least to me... Have been eating it since young and it's the best version of E-Mee so far cause it's super unique. Not like those outside... haha (: YAY, oh +plus... I like the fact that there's egg beaten into it!

I remb how I used to go to that coffeeshop at my place almost every weekends for breakfast with my family when I was a kid. Growing up, I get so busy on weekends, breakfast became just bread bought the night before.. put into the oven w melted cheese and I'm ready to leave the house! Growing up, the coffeeshop also shifted a couple of times here and there, but always just opposite, how lame! Also, all my other fav stores are now gone, sighs:( My unique prawn mee and also the auntie that sells awesome mix rice dishes! arguahhh!

Yeah so anyways, back to the topic, okay... This is lunch!

Then, Mum had to meet some business people for a short meeting & I didn't want to go home since I'm already out, so she dropped me at Parkway for me to do some damage to my wallet, ALONE! I love shopping alone, don't judge me. I can take my own sweet time and don't have to worry about having to 'entertain' anyone next to me.

Shopped at Cotton On, did a damage of 60bux as well as pop over to Marks & Spencers to check out their new food collection! Ohdear, I spent another couple of bux... cause the food were just TOO tempting!

You really pay for value, and I love shopping there AT TIMES, because number1, I get really unique selection of snack choices, number2, I get to beat the queue compared to other supermarts like duh, and number3, the cashier smiles and says thank you when you pay. How Awesome! I mean like if they're selling the same things as what GIANT or NTUC are selling but at a higher price, I won't be stupid and shop there, but the fact is the stuffs they have, other places don't. LIKE my everything DARKCHOCS, omgz did I mention, I know myself better... best. I have a freakinggg soft spot for dark chocs. Everything I saw there dark choc labelled, I felt like buying them up. And, everything chocolatey, I look ard that product to see if it comes in dark choc version.

Headed down to IKEA for dinner afterwhich!

Wanted to get settle for the fav famous hotdog bun for dinner, but I saw this when coming up the escalators, OMGZZZ!

Yes, surprisingly.. great! So decided to stay for dinner there.

BUT even so, I JUST had to grab this on the go!!!

THE BEST HOTDOG EVER! I could eat like 3 of this at a go! Maybe, minus the bread, 5-10 at a go... hehehee, #greedypigisme... No kidding!

Shopped around for some kiddy utensils coz Mum's restaurant needed them for the kiddy customers hohoho (I was so happy can you imagine, even if it's not for me, I get to buy them for once... for a good purpose!) yup... and then it was time for dinner. Super crowded. Mum was wondering why, but I replied 'Good Food what!'. haha, I know she's probably thinking the food is not of that good standard yet why so many people, but I'll act blur and give her the benefit of the doubt thinking she's wondering literally...

Finally, got a chance to try the dark choc cake. Honestly, I've been eyeing on it ever since, muahaha. But after trying, it's not that nice... sighs! :( I 'dismantlement' the cake to see whats on each layer.. destroyer la! Seems like there's alot of gel thingee and it's fibre wheat inbetween?!? Ohwells, would be nice if the bottom layer is made of digestive biscuit and less gel-ish thing which IDK what it is.
