15-58
On the 15th day of SIP, I learn many major life lessons 101.
Straight from my Boss & Colleagues.I drew closer to my heavenly father. It's psychology or something you know, just 1 week of skipping church and so many things happening in my life. God's game or something eh, so powerful. It's a message! :>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyways, I learnt from my mistakes and learnt some major life lessons from my working environment and company culture. Lessons in generally, which are remarkably valuable, priceless. Pointless for me to blog about it, because you won't fully understand unless you are me and that's not possible, obviously.
Basically, it's a big world outside, really like a rat race I would say. School life is very different from working life... Like duh! I may be stating the obvious, but I'm still stating it. In the real world, no one to guide or spoonfeed you. Well, PBL applications right?haha! (: ... that's something I have learnt to appreciate also, because at least it sets me thinking or thinking twice before anything. And, lastly, I really need to move from the student mindset if not I will just come across as naive and childish. Yup, that's my learning points for the week.
Lunch was spent in office because I was too distraught to face the world with my bloodshot eyes and Rudolph nose. HAHA! Thanks bunny Maylene for buying lunch for me, she bought me 3 diff types of bread cause she said 1 seem too little and also, she don't know which flavours I like LOL she's so sweet!
Now... I just need a goodnight's sleep and a little talk w God to absorb everything I have learnt.
Spent the rest of the worktime uploading pictures. Piss me off when I upload onto the wrong shop. It's such a waste of precious time. I got to be more careful!!!
Supposed to meet Dad & Yoke Ting in town for dinner, but Waye Ning asked for dinner and accompany her to the doctor's. Thought it would be a good time spent together so I agreed. I'm so glad I spent the night with her, totally worth my time, because we chatted about everything under the sun. Thank God, no awkward moments at all (: Didn't expect any awkward moments anyways, coz we hit off quite well from the start. Just a certain chemistry? Love my Hammy!!!
Did I mention, we had cheap thrills running across the flashing green lights... 'Should we cross?'.. 'Errr.. yes... -DASH- upon seeing the red man!' SO FUNNN! And, we walked like super fast cause we were afraid the clinic was closing. Dinner was at Kovan's New York New York restaurant, love how peaceful it was cause it was quite ulu :/ We managed to get the huge comfy private seats, yay!
She took time to talk about my SIP journey thus far, as a friend. Basically in a much nicer way that I could accept. For me, you got to make me understand things, please don't shout or scream at me. Yeah, through the HTHT, I learnt many stuffs from her... Makes me think twice about my actions and words esp, what I do in future. haha so funny, we skipped like afew trains on purpose just to talk and kill some time before reaching Bishan to meet Yoke Ting to pass her my babydslr bao bei!
I'll dawn upon this verse, an encouragement from dear girl, Adeline...
Ephesians 6:5-8
New International Version (NIV)
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. 7Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, 8because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.
