Skinny Pizza @ Wheelock Place
WHY can't I have the BEST of both worlds?
I LOVE skinny crust pizzas, but WHY doesn't skinny pizza serve authentic flavours, back to basics ones? Like Hawaiian! :/
They come up with weird flavours, like this:
Yes, maybe they are nice & unique but really, they are one of a kind. It's not that this isn't good, they taste nice IF you know how to appreciate their taste, but for people like myself, no thanks!!! Their flavour choices are limited and I couldn't decide which to order!

It was so bad to the extend I asked Joanne, 'Eh isit very weird if I eat at Skinny Pizza w/o ordering Pizza?!!' As bimbotic as it sounds, yes, I just WANTED & NEEDED to know.
Because I felt more like eating THIS...
... instead of some weird flavoured pizza! -.-
If you're just wondering WHERE & WHAT I'm talking about, it's my dinner shepherding date to Skinny Pizza, I chose the Wheelock Place branch cause it's much quieter and the deco concept is very different from their other branches, this branch is more OUT of the NORM corporate identity kinda concept.
Sucks to have such a signboard - I'm not saying the restaurant nor the name sucks, what I meant was, having your product name as your company name would indirectly pressurize customers to have pizza there!
*Something like you don't go to KFC (It's company name has the word 'Chicken' in it) & order seafood-related dishes right?*

Let me just commend the service of their waiters.
They know the menu inside out, very well trained as well. They have a standard set of things to tell customers - I mean, even if it's rehearsed or memorised, it's okay, cause at least they bother saying it!
So, they will start off with setting down customers on a table, followed by telling us systematically what's the special item of the day Eg.soup, salad, etc, what's good/recommended flavours esp for the pizzas (since it's their signature business), what's the special promos and discount if we use a certain credit card, etc.

As for Drinks:
The waitress' recommendation, best drink to go with pizzas... so we ordered!
Alcoholic Apple Cidar!
Loved it!!!
Very RE-Freshing! Tasted like Tiger Beer with apple mixer (;
As for Food:
We decided to order a simple-flavoured Pizza to share!
I mean, since we're here already, just try their pizza la. Kinda craving for the thin crust as well (: Ham & Cheese Skinny-Crust Pizza!
It was the least intimidating flavour, categorised as 'Kids-Friendly'.

It's not as simple as you think of it to be. In fact, the ham & cheese used is of higher quality. Very American kinda ingredient. Not the normal ham & cheese that can be easily bought and made DIY at home!
