Alina invited me to her school's chinese drama night!

Thought it would be interesting both revisiting NYJC as well as attending a JC drama night, thus, I said okay!

On the day itself, I met her at NEX. I was hungry max so decided to get some buns to go along. Bought some bread and this unusual meal - BIG BAO & when I say BIG, it's really BIG!

Look at it man, it's like some kind of hamburger packaging, a Chinese-ized burger I could say!

Damn worth it! BUT honestly, I don't like it. It's too CHINESE-STYLE. It's something like claypot rice ingredients inside that huge bun. There's chinese saugague and the pork meat is like sticky type -.-

Walked all the way to NYJC from NEX.
Feels good to be back again. It's one of the newer built renovated JCs...

We managed to get a seat amongst the crowd. By the time we could get seats, we found ourselves right in front. Thus, we settled for the Front Row, Left side...

The VIP that night was Ms Joanna Dong!
Such a small world because just on Tuesday, we went to OMY.sg's movie preview 'Forever', starring her!

She gave a short intro speech about acting career and main point, encouraging students to chase their dreams!

I'm sorry, I'm dumb or blur or what, but I really didn;t get the play! :( Sadly...

Okay, I managaed to get the big picture and main idea of what the play is, but the in-betweens... I didn't really get it + I was quite out off by the accent of the actors, because most of them were PRCs -.- No doubt, they were good. Good is Good la, but... don't you think it kinda defeats the purpose of coming for this show, cause I expected most of the students to be local and if I wanted those really perfect chinese (which FYI, puts me to sleep), I might as well watch TV serial or tune in to a china radio station.

I'm sorry! I have nothing against them, but their tone of voice is lullaby to me, not because it is soft in fact it's the opposite... cause I simply couldn't stand it. +PLUS their expressions are too exaggerated please! :/

Anyways, on a happier note! WE WENT TO CHOMPS FOR SUPPER!!!

Before that, decided to stay a little while longer at NYJC, took some pictures as usual! :>

Went for grocery shopping after that. I'm glad NTUC there opens 24hrs. So convinient!(:
