OMG, really Thank God for her! Despite being a short catchup session, we simply HTHT to each others. You know it's like, you can only talk to people in the same situation as you, then they will understand... She's one I always look forward to talking to because we understand each other. Balancing studies & cca. Woah, quite a feat. Support! (: Love you girl!

Didn't expect myself to get this when I first stepped into TP.

Today, receiving this award, is a BONUS to me.
Seriously.

GOD planned it well, He made everything worth it. No regrets!

This felt so unattainable.

Everyone said 'Woah, you want to go Uni, go Poly uh? Need Top 10% leh'. That made me very hesitant initially. To me, Top 10% were for serious nerds, who mug so hard.. I mean, you know those RGS-RI-RJC standard. Like when you hear a GPA 4.0, from University, you will think they are some professionals or sth right... & that's not my personality. I was disheartened.

Because, I'm just an average student. Back in Primary school like most of us, EM2. Back in Secondary school, below average I guess, I was in the LAST class of the Express stream (Which to me thinking back, is a blessing in disguise, because I got to take F&N & Drama, which no one else has such a unique O-Level Combi). Well, I never got any academic achievements, the most... Edusave? Academic awards were like the last thing on my list. To me, a pass for certain subjects is like a dream come true already!

Despite all that, I braced up & took the challenge!

All I told myself was 'Sam, this is your choice, you are more suited for poly, don't go JC just because you wanna go Uni. So, since you chose to go to a poly and it's a risk you are taking if you want to enter a local Uni.. you just have to do my best!'

Reason why I chose Business, is for the Passion!

I guess why I can do much better now, is because of the school system.

I mean, I'm a very logical & practical person. I like things which I think are useful.

I didn't feel that O level subjects were useful so I don't do well. But now, they are industry-driven, thus at least I know that there is use in studying them.. I guess.

Of course, what I have just said is maybe 35% true only, because if now you give me a past year paper to do, I will simply pass it back to you are say 'Sorry, I forgot everything already.'

I only remember things which are significant & applicable. & definitely, NOT exam papers. That's just crazy!

No doubt, I would be lying if I said the journey for the past 1 year was a bed of roses. It never was. The many days, nights, weeks or months spent cursing and swearing and crying w a little sense of joy & satisfaction, just because of projects and exams. Woah, in Poly, it's never easy. But, thru it all, I survived. No, we survived. Yes, we survived & I'm so proud of all of us. I always feel poly students have an upper-hand. We face much more things here in school. So, who cares about the muggers always thinking they are a cup above us. Ohwells.

Got to continue to work hard & keep the momentum.
It's gonna be tough, cause right now, I don't know what I'm doing, but I got 'Cs' and all, pulling my GPA down already.

Ohwells, what can I do?
I'm just gonna do my best, and leave the rest to GOD.

Headed off to join BSC for AGMs and stayed in the room to discuss AGM stuffs, then after.

Stranded(!) because I left my wallet & housekey with my Mum just now, so took a lift from Isaac's dad to Bedok Simpang tgt with Darren & Ben, to watch Soccer.

Woah, the atmosphere is damn high.

We were lucky. Once, we stepped in, Brazil scored their 1st GOAL!

Supposed to go down to Yu Xiu's house to join the Clique, when Nic pick me up, however, Nicholas was still at Bedok Interchange and undecided if he's going, so I went home instead!
