Review of Lynn Aesthetic Facial Treatment

Truth: I haven’t been to facial for a really long time.

But at the back of my mind, I know that it would definitely be beneficial, not as an indulgence, but as a kind favour to my skin.

Thanks to Sample Store, I was treated to an opportunity to enjoy a Detox Facial – Young and Trendy at Lynn Aesthetic, a cozy homely facial salon nestled in the heart of Kovan.

Some background info – the detox facial focuses on the “self-repair ability” that humans naturally have. By accelerating the metabolism of the cell, one will be able to recover your BEST skin condition.

My beautician of the evening was Ivy. She gave me a tour of the two-storey salon and allowed me to take photos of the rooms before ushering me into a beautifully decorated room for my facial – which was an inviting room! J

Before we begin, she shone lights on my face and analyzed that my skin very dry. Hence, she suggested that we customize the treatment to focus more on hydration, of which I gladly agreed. I was quite impressed with the personal touch rather than a one-size-fits-all sort of treatment. During the facial, she explained every step to me and mentally prepared me if the particular product used was going to be cold or warm.  I was indeed in good professional hands as I rested on a very comfortable bed. As part of the facial treatment, there was a hand and shoulder head massage which I enjoyed most!

After the very thorough facial, I immediately felt rejuvenated and refresh. Black heads were visibly reduced (the extraction was very bearable) and my face was much more hydrated. See below for the results! It's definitely much clearer in real life, but I guess the pictures do tell.

At the end of the facial (which I wish didn't end... even through 90mins have passed), I requested for Ivy to explain to me what packages they have as I have been wanting to find a facial place. While explaining some packages to me, she was not pushy and understood fully that I wanted to wait a few more days to see the after effects of the facial before making a choice on which package treatment suits my skin best. That made me very comfortable and respected as a consumer. In general, service staff were friendly and customer-oriented.

Overall, it was a comfortable 2 hours spent there and I walked out feeling I could conquer the world! (Just kidding, but really I felt so so refreshed!) Oh did I mention, their red date tea (served at the start and end of the facial) is super tasty!
