Start Making Time For Them, again
#1 Pray More
Prayer Develops Our Relationship with God.
It's Week 13, crunch time (some would say), 2 weeks before final term exams. But, here's to remind myself that I should keep up with my prayers and in fact, I want to offer prayers to my friends (or even strangers) because you have no idea how that small simple prayer would affect someone else in a great way. So, if you're reading this and you need a prayer request, just let me know. It's always good to pray, I mean it's better than spending the same amount of time worrying.

#2 Handwrite Things
Thanks to the high technological society we're living in, we seldom take out our paper and pens to write things down. I admit, I don't even bring extra paper and pencil box to school anymore. I bring my laptop instead. Evidently so, thanks to social media, I'm blogging instead of journaling, I wish my friends Happy Birthday via facebook, instagram, twitter. Well, here's my take. I make it a point to sms or write a card to my friends sometimes, or even scrapbooking! There's a huge difference between sending someone something encouraging via text or social media and writing a post-it note to them or even saying it to them face-to-face. These are the small little things that we don't really take note of, but it's a habit I would like to keep up with. Traditional as it may be, it's what I like!

#3 Cook (up a storm) & Bake
I would really want to spend more time in the kitchen, having some me + oven time. I love whipping something up, decorating it nicely and snapping pictures of it. But, man! It takes alot of time, and sadly, I don't have the luxury of it. This holiday especially, I'm gonna make it a point to do so, for me and for my friends. Yummy treats, here we come!

#4 Dress Up
Come Week 10 onwards, everyone's busy with project submissions and exams. AKA grab whatever you feel like wearing. Looking thru my Instagram, I haven't been taking lots of #ootd(s). Actually, I'm not a fan of dressing up but I really do miss getting dressed up for no other reason but just wanting to. Or perhaps, having a real occasion for me to dress up. I guess it's always a girl's thing to want to feel pretty on some days. Fashionista, and back to modelling days, yes, coming soon!

#5 Read
I hate reading books. I'm the kind who would rather watch movies than books. Reason being? I can't seat still and concentrate for long. But you know what, I can read magazines and I have a pile of them waiting for me to read because I buy them and I procrastinate. I promise to finish them by the end of this month, before next month's edition comes out! And, I should really read up more on God's word to keep me sane. Besides doing QT every night, I need to start reading more books of my own topics of interest, take down notes and really take time to learn from it.

#6 Fast(-ing) from Technology
I remember those days in Laos, last December. 2 weeks off from technological connections. I thought I couldn't survive, but I did. And, it was easier than I thought. Because, it's all in the mind. Mindset is important. Just tell yourself, no connection for 2 weeks, and yay, it feels good actually. But I doubt (almost impossible) I'll be able to do this especially when I'm in Singapore. I'll probably think I'm missing something out if I don't check my phone or laptop. A challenge, but lets' just see how it goes.

#7 Shopping
I just need to buy something! And, I hate window shopping. It doesn't make me feel efficient at all. I'm the kind who likes to get things done. It's very satisfying. hahaha, okay I think it's just me. Honestly, shopping, especially grocery and room-decor shopping, just because it’s therapeutic.

#8 Volunteering
I remember the days when I had to complete CIP hours. My friends and I thankfully managed to find something kids-music related, helped them out with some dance and music performance. One of my best CIPs ever. I had so much fun spending my time with these cute (or naughty) little kids, and just being like one of them. Speaking to them in their own language and just acting like them. Spending time with young children makes me feel like a kid all over again, carefree, no worries, nothing. My Soft Spot? When they call "Jie Jie". Awww! I should go volunteer in HOPE kids ministry or something.

#9 Travel
If you know me, you should know I love travelling. Travelling allows me to learn many things and keeps me independent. I love exploring cities, even if it means getting lost in them. Well, for now, since I'm in Singapore, I guess travelling... by foot is just as good. For the past few weeks, I've made it a point take the bus, stop somewhere further from my house, so that I can have some me-time while walking home and listening to music at the same time. I should really start exploring places that I pass by everyday, I might find a gem or two.

It's just the festive feel or that month. My 21st Party (of which I've stopped feeling excited about and having lots of faith by leaving it up to my friends), Christmas (Fav season of the year), HongKong with the Clique, Bizcom Retreat, Church Ministry Camp, lots more to do..... and of course, the new year countdown, Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!
Have a great week ahead!
