SMU's only fashion show - Where Fashion Meets Philanthropy

Slightly Scarlet Models 2013
Look out for 30 of SMU's hottest freshmen and sophomores as they strut down a mirrored runway modelling clothes. We promise a night of eyecandies, fashionistas and a unique classy experience. Get your tickets and celebrate the beginning of your SMU life in style.

AND SO...
Y'all have probably seen my friends and even myself publicising my own picture on your newsfeed & probably wondering what's going on! So basically I'm in the running for Asia's next top model, (no, kidding!) it's for Asia Fashion Scarlet!

 In conjunction with this Slightly Scarlet Fashion Show Event, Asia Fashion Inc x Singapore Management University organised a competition for students, SMU-Wide, on the lookout for the most fashionable student in SMU!

 Honestly, I'm probably not the most qualified person to be in this competition though I love dressing up and having photo shoots. Especially comparing to the legit scarlet models in the pics above, I really wouldn't call myself a fashionista or a top model material (duh!), but hey since my friend pulled me in for this competition and here I am, thankfully in the Top 12, SO I've decided... I'm gonna go all out to hopefully win this contest (might as well right!).

Pretty Pretty Please vote for me! I'm not much of a fashion guru BUT for all the time and effort I'm putting in to garner votes (and likes for Asia Fashion Inc), I really think I deserve a round of applause. haha! No, wrong, all my friends and voters are the ones who deserve the applauses, really *cue claps* I swear, I really dig out my entire supporter base... Family members, Friends - People from CHIJ, TP, SMU, Church, Bloggers.. oh and even my very own customers from Glow and Temptations. When I say I go all out, I really do.

I'm sorry to disappoint all you voters if I eventually don't win SO it's my responsibility to let y'all know that the voting system's only 40% of the entire judging criteria. Actually why should I chiong so much right, my goodness. 60% still depends on the judges and I honestly think the other 11 contestants dressed very stylish. I'll vote for them as well actually. Ohwells. But you see, EVEN SO, it's very true that every vote counts... so I'll really appreciate your precious vote!

THANKS everyone who have ALREADY voted for me & (some even shared this pic on your facebook timeline) thus far, woah I'm eternally grateful! (: You all are super amazing, some of yall even told me that you've voted for me even before I can say anything! Humanity and Friendship EXIST, it's quite crazy! Somehow, I feel like I'm running for some pageant cause my current votes are almost equivalent (or even higher) than the actual pageant kids...

I'll leave the thankful words in another post, but as of now let me do some shameless publicity myself once and for all...

This #ootd is nothing like a back to school, but I didn't want to be cliche and dress in the typical school girl outfit, so I thought people recognise me as the flower girl, I might as well pump that identity up more and just go ahead with it. TADAAA! I love my paddlepop skirt, looks really good in great lighting pictures.
Believe it or not, this was a candid test shot which turned out a little better than the actual shoot...
