Hi there! I’m Samantha,

and this space encompasses my personal milestones made beautiful in His time. Combining my flair for easy-to-read writing and my love for photography, here you'll find me sharing the thing I'm most passionate about - travel, food, fashion and my conversations with God.

*P.S when God was blessing others with the gift of height, He left me out realizing that great things come in tiny packages, so instead I am gifted with endless energy and a big wide smile to get through difficult times.

Forever & always, a child of God. Through this cozy little virtual haven, I hope each post inspires at least someone out there with my life stories.

Dimsum Buffet @ Yum Cha

Situated in the heart of Singapore's touristy Chinatown, this unassuming corner shophouse restaurant, Yum Cha Restaurant 饮茶酒楼, is one of the more famous dim sum restaurants in the area.

Yum Cha Chinatown is on the second floor of a shophouse building. The two small entrances requires you to either take the escalator up or walk up a flight of stairs. Design of the place remains very typical Chinese restaurant looking, with marble table tops, wooden flooring and ohyes, traditional-like wooden chairs.
I LOVE DIMSUM!

signature dimsum dishes!

The buffet costs around $19.80++ per pax & only starts from 3pm till 6pm (Weekdays only)
Adeline & Jaclyn were my lunch-hightea buffet buddies this time round and yes, the 3 of us conquered many plates of dim sum, *so proud of ourselves*

Before we could even seat down, the waitresses immediately put all sorts of dim sum items onto our tables. Through there was a menu for this buffet, BUT Whoa, we didn't even need to order and we got served. Good for people who are very hungry. It's like INSTANT good food in your face, literally! So we sat down and slowly enjoyed the dishes before deciding what else to order.

1. Siew Mai 燒賣 (Juicy meat & fresh crunchy Prawns!)
 2. Har Gau 蝦餃 (Prawn Dumplings)
3. Chives Dumpling with meat

Mighty Yummy Desserts for sharing
I loved the refreshing desserts, especially the Honey & Lemongrass Jelly with fruits! It was not too sweet yet had the tangy lemon taste in it. Super yummy, if I wasn't so full, I would have ordered another bowl!

Overall, it was quite a worthwhile meal & I would totally come back here again if I want to binge of dim sum!

However, it ain't like fast-food :( You must order 1day in advanced and there's a minimum order of S$70. Hmmm... if only it was like an order on the spot for supper, then I'll totally go for that instead of Macs. haha!
