PRE Sunsilk Academy Fantasia 明星学院
'Academy Fantasia' first started out in Mexico 10 years ago in Mexico generating more than 10 million votes in its first season. This show format was also taken on in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, India and China.
It's here in SINGAPORE now!
StarHub has partnered local production house Refinery Media, who is also the creator and producer of SUPERMODELME, to produce this reality singing competition show. Watch this video to understand this reality show a little better :)
About Academy Fantasia
The 14 finalists will be housed in a specially built academy monitored by close circuit cameras. They will undergo intensive training in singing, dancing and acting lessons by well-known personalities. The 10-week competition will also see contestants competing at weekly concerts every Saturday hosted by Singapore born and educated host Joe Tsoi held at Dragonfly Bar in St. James Power Station. Contestants with the lowest votes each week will be eliminated with 30% of the votes from a panel of judges and 70% through SMS voting.
The eventual winner of the Sunsilk Academy Fantasia will get a two-year singing contract and a recording album with local record label Ocean Butterflies Music. Ocean Butterflies Music which has groomed top regional artistes such as BY2, JJ Lin, A-Do, will also groom the winner.
