The PSC plus a little Holland (Village)
Was invited by school to the prestigious PSC talk
TP's 'legendary' Wilson Yung & another guy, Marvin, shared with us on why they decided to take on the PSC scholarship, followed by this pretty lady, Eleena who's already in her 3rd year 2nd ministry posting of her career track. Interesting stories, I was really captivated by the fact that they get to TRAVEL to many amazing countries!
Refreshments afterwhich! But, after the whole session, we went to speak to Marvin about MFA more since he's in that track. Well... It's not so glitz & glamour afterall to be honest. After speaking to him, I don't know whether I'm going to take on this scholarship. There are pros and cons, one of the cons being the long term bond. I shall seat down and really think of about... so for now, we shall see!
So this explains why there's so little food left... but doesn't really matter because we were going for a nice lunch anyways!
Spoke to Wilson during lunchtime. The guys caught up with him, kinda a honour in the sense because ever since we were in Year 1, our course manager, our tutors and even the Director of Business school told us about him. The legendary 4.0 top scorer from Diploma of Business.
I still remember when I was in my 1st year, all I told myself was to do well so I can enter a local university because the poly-uni route makes more sense than a jc-uni route which you would be quite lost when u enter uni. So when I heard 4.0 I'm like OMG you got to be kidding! Super zai, I mean 4.0 for a sem is fine but to graduate when a 4.0, that's really something man!
w my pretty babe!
Anyways, we drove off to Holland V for lunch! Super happy that Jereld drove, so we could get a ride ^^
Enjoying the ride from the backseat...
Upon reaching Holland Village, I INSISTED on having lunch at a place that only HV has. But somehow everywhere we turn, the restaurants now look so common, tsk!
Decided on returning to Rooftop Cafe 211...
Apprantely, they have a lunch set special. I don't really take sets because the soup of the day is normally the creamy type and there are just too few desserts that I really eat...
Order my staple Vongole instead...
Vongole Linguine
Looking super tasty & worth it!
After chilling out in the aircon-ed area, I was telling them how I purposely came to this cafe the other time because of its outdoors... because during the evening time it's really lovely. So I brought them out to take a look and snap some pictures!
Decided to take the new part of the Circle Line to town!
Holland V MRT, woohooo makes travelling much more convenient now!
There were quite many small scale eateries and cafes in the MRT itself, honestly, I was telling them that BEFORE you even reach Holland V proper, you will already be super spoilt for choices at the MRT. hahaha!
