Aunty treated us to a lunch buffet @ Sheraton Hotel, The Dining Room.

Despite Tues being the study week still, I went to join the family! Had always wanted to try it cause have heard good reviews about it, so was happy to finally be able to try it for myself! YAY!

Haven't been to Sheratons ever since Secondary4 Prom. Miss those days...

Enough talk, let's just get down to some foodie action! Love taking pics first as usual, cause at the same time, I get to see for myself what food there is, before taking a plate and taking food I want...

Let's start with the desserts' section, cause they were directly behind my table...

and, this pretty tier, definately caught my eye!

Moving on to the more 'worth' it part of any buffets...

Found this really tidy & so cute! What a creative way of serving chilli crab w the fried buns...

& this is a french cuisine-inspired creation done by Yours Truly... (:

Small potion of food(meat), big plate, nice presentation of sauce. Amen.

Verdict: However, in general, I don't think the main course (that day) was good. At least, the type of food wasn't to my liking... that's why!

After taking a little of everything from every section, here's what I got! ~

Cakes & Pastries

Apparently, the white thing on the left, is something very famous from the past. The adults on my table were so excited to see it. Muthu something one.... very hard to find in Singapore. It seems like the last time they saw/ate it was when they were young. WOW. I didn't try it thro...

My Fav Dessert of the day was still...

The almighty famous DURIAN PUFFS! Couldn't help but to help myself to a few of them...
It was so popular that within half an hour, the restaurant chef had to top up 3 or 4 times. Wow! At first, I didn't notice it but since they keep topping up means it has got to be good. So I took 1 to try and indeed, I understood instantly why it's so popular!

The skin is not too thick which is good, and the best part is the durian because it's COLD. Icy cold and soothing to the mouth. Melts in your mouth literally... SHIOKKK!

Besides the small durian puffs, I loved the double chocolate icecream!


& the awesome toppings to choose from! Sadly, no chocolate fondue, which I was actually quite surprise *gasps* :/

Went to walk around the hotel afterwards to digest some food, because all of us were really full!

Decided to venture outdoors after seeing the pretty artificial waterfalls from the inside...
