Hi there! I’m Samantha,

and this space encompasses my personal milestones made beautiful in His time. Combining my flair for easy-to-read writing and my love for photography, here you'll find me sharing the thing I'm most passionate about - travel, food, fashion and my conversations with God.

*P.S when God was blessing others with the gift of height, He left me out realizing that great things come in tiny packages, so instead I am gifted with endless energy and a big wide smile to get through difficult times.

Forever & always, a child of God. Through this cozy little virtual haven, I hope each post inspires at least someone out there with my life stories.

What an 18th!

The Irony.

When I was in Secondary School, I celebrated every single of my Birthday with a big party, either at my function room or in NSRCC chalet bungalow. Until I was 16th that was. Everything changed after I turned 16. Because ever since I came into Poly, December became a 'School-Month'. I didn't have the time to plan for a party because there was no way I could. So you see, people celebrate their 18th and 21st, but I am not having a party for my 18th! That's the IRONY. (:

I didn't think I wouldn't.

In fact, I really wanted to throw the biggest bash 18th, like in a ballroom like a wedding (haha, good imagination right!) after I watched 'My Super Sweet 16th' on TV. I thought my 18th would be a grand one with my family and friends. However, as I said, it's impossible. School School School. Daddy told me someone withdraw from NSRCC Booking on 2nd Dec & he wanted to book for me (THANKS!), but I declined the offer. Cause it's too rush to plan anything in 1 week. Besides, there's school at 9am the next day & also, I can't invite everyone because the different group of friends not interacting would simply feel weird! So end up, I would spent close to $1K on chalet and catering and bbq, and just having a party for the sake of having one. Which I find super meaningless. Imagine you sit in 1 corner then have nothing to do except slack ard with your group of friends. Well, it's hard la!

Okay, I tried having a MACS Party, but it is only available at 5pm. Most of us haven't ended school:( So that plan is OFF, sadly. The happy thing is Mummy booked a Hotel Room for me cause she say 2nd Dec I got no sch! HEH!

So anyways for now, I'll just be 'Celebrating' (Dinner Meets!) with different group of friends.
Nevertheless, I hope it would be a great 18th!

On a happy note, I'm a very easily contented kid!
You can get me a handmade card & I'll be glad you did!
