I can proudly proclaim, I didn’t waste my youth chasing after desires which I'm not supposed to and doing myself a disfavour by getting emotional, crying over boys etc. Instead, I went through my secondary school together with God.
What's your DESIRE?
Serving God during my student days, definitely, one of the major situations faced is having to make a choice between school, friends, family or church. And many a times, I am confronted by people around you about your commitments in church. Well, you know, I have come to a stage where as much as I chose others instead of church, I've learnt that if we chose church, the rest will fall right into place like a puzzle piece. Got to have faith, and believe God will make a way!
Another major situation is time management. Imagine, the thought of not being able to attend CG, due to other school commitments or because I have a dealine to meet the very next morning. Or, the other way round, not being able to attend an important group project meeting because I have a prayer meet or conference.
What's your DESIRE?
I have lots of desires. Well, listing them out is quite a chore, but if you asked me on the spot w/o giving me anytime to think, I would simply smile at you w my mind in a total blank. Then if you shared your desires to me, I might go 'YEAHHH. ME TOO ME TOO!'
Yes, now that I have time to think thru it, I would list TRAVEL as one of them.
I LOVE TO TRAVEL. I have no idea since when I started liking it, but I really love it.
If I could, I would tour every part of the world, with the person I love, taking as many pretty photos to capture the prettiest moments and places in life.
Besides that, like any other kid, if you know me, I really love performing, watching tv, making friends, talking like no one's business, other things like being recognized & really, many other stuffs. However, I know that these things do not last. What's eternal that lasts.

Thus, another of my DESIRE is to impact lives around me, to be a salt & light amongst people. I admit that it isn't the only but I know it is one of my top desires. & by serving God, it allows me to do so. Rushing for CG every week after lessons, putting shepherding in my organiser, attending Saturday's services... Why am I doing all these? Cause, at the end of the day, I know deep down that 'I need a GOD-THING'. It's something Man alone can't do. God does it, through US.

To sum this up, it is when you see people you personally brought to know God serving God alongside with you, that you know whatever I have done is worthed it.
This is my motivated and I'm challenged to do what seems the impossible.

Yu Xiu & I brought Jane as Visitor.
Went Mt.Sophia for FLEA before that!
Jane was quite open to the service, like dancing and clapping along w the songs, raising her hands and all :) Yay!
Through eventually, during alter call, she didn't accept Christ (Didn't expect her to also, just intended to bring her come see see!), but I know at least she believes in God, hopefully!
